This old empty house that I once knew now laughs at me
I sit on my bed that I made up of air and feel lonely once more
Bare, bitter, white walls mock and challenge on cue
Familiar sharp twists take a fatal direction
You can't have me this time
He's helping me out of my old empty house
Holding my frame strong with his own secure build
I'd all but forgotten till I had to come home
But I won't let the rain fall down tonight
You can't have me this time
I'm leaving this old empty house
