Not Superhuman

I cannot change the past,
so I won't pretend like I can.
For I have been forgiven
by the mercy on His hands.

I am not invincible,
so I won't pretend like I am.
I'll give it up to God because
I know He understands.

I cannot see the future,
so I won't pretend like I do.
A worried heart is too unhealthy
so I'll give all that up too.

My heart doesn't rule my head,
but my head doesn't rule my heart.
It's a mutual understanding
to leave God to do His part.
